A plain-language inventory of browser storage and the consent standard for any future analytics or marketing tools.

1. Current technology
The current Ribbsaeter Records site does not intentionally deploy optional analytics, advertising, or social-tracking cookies. It uses browser local storage for the shopping basket so selected product identifiers and quantities remain available on the same device.
Local-storage key: “ribbsaeter_cart_v1”. Purpose: basket functionality. Duration: until you clear the basket or delete site data in your browser. Recipient: the data stays in the browser unless a future enabled checkout requires the basket to be sent to the server.
2. Strictly necessary services
Hosting and security providers may use short-lived technical storage or request data that is strictly necessary to deliver, protect, or balance the service. Under applicable rules, technology strictly necessary for a service requested by the visitor may not require consent, but it must still be described transparently.
3. External links
Links to YouTube, SoundCloud, social platforms, LinkedIn, and other external websites do not by themselves place those providers’ cookies through this site. Once you follow a link, the destination provider controls its own storage and tracking.
4. Future analytics and marketing
Optional analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social media, or marketing cookies will not be enabled for visitors who require consent until a consent control is available. The control will identify each purpose and provider, allow refusal by default, and make withdrawal as easy as acceptance.
5. Managing storage
You can delete local storage and cookies through your browser privacy settings. Clearing the Ribbsaeter Records site data will also clear the saved basket. Blocking necessary browser storage may prevent basket features from working correctly.
6. Updates
This inventory will be reviewed before any analytics, embedded media, account, consent, or checkout technology is activated. Changes will be reflected by the date at the top of this page.
